We caught "desert Sprites". There was a big storm over the Negev desert in Israel.

About us:

ILAN Science Team is an Israeli TLEs hunting project.

The sprite campaign began in 2005. Till now, we caught more then 100 TLEs (Sprites, Elves).
Our research is focusing on Modeling, measuring and quantifying electromagnetic radiation produced by lightning associated with Transient Luminous Events (TLE's).

We have three stations:

* Tel Aviv Univeristy, Tel Aviv, Israel.
* The Hebrew Univeristy, Jerusalem, Isreal.
* Wise Observatory, Mitzpe Ramon, Israel.
