During the night of the 13-14 of November we conducted night observation from Jerusalem.
we observed 20 meteors and 1 sprite. It seems that the parent cell cloud top wasn't significantly high based on satellite image, but it seems that there was enough stratified region to accumulate positive charge.

ReplyDeletedistance estimated to the sprite is: 300-350km. It is hard to estimate the circle pattern dimensions because of lack of columns in the left side of the formation.
